I opened that last one, to find it from the bookstore that I had been interviewed for the customer rep/Data-entry position. And the email was as follows:
Dear Nourhan,
It was a pleasure meeting you and having the opportunity to discuss your education and your career goals. We appreciate the time you dedicated to go through our selection process. Your qualifications match our requirements to a big extent, but we are unable to offer you a position at this time.
We will keep your resume in our current file for consideration at a later date should a suitable vacancy arise.
We are certain that you will find a position which suits you soon and we believe that you have a great deal to contribute. Please accept our best wishes for your future
Thanks and regards
I wasn't sad, I didn't want to work there anyway because the place was too far and the other position was customer service not the kind of job to be suitable for my qualifications.
I actually liked that email, it gave hope by mentioning that I have good qualifications which can be enough for the vacancies & by mentioning that they are gonna keep my resume for a later suitable vacancy in the future.
In my life I've recieved three rejection emails, first was from Unilever and the second was from PepsiCo and the last was from that bookstore.
Comparing all of the three, the bookstore's rejection email is the best. Pepsico's rejection email was just telling me in the face 'You are rejected' while Unilever's wasn't motivating enough 'We believe that you have a good qualifications but they don't match our internship program requirements' or maybe because Unilever's interview went really bad that I'm carrying a bad image for Unilever.
Any other upcoming rejection emails?
