Mixed appeals commercials

Today in my Media class, I've learned that there is a lot of commercials that are a mix of both emotional and rational appeals. They start with emotional appeal and then ends with a rational one.
Check that Mercedes commercial, it started with an emotional appeal with a humor.. then ends with a rational one telling us about the message.



I've learned as well that Safety is one from emotional appeals as it always play on the viewer emotions and it will never be a rational appeal as it isn't about benefits or performance.

Another one for Ally Bank, it started with a short ironic funny story that ends up with stating the benefit of being a customer at Ally Bank


Ant there's the Egyptian new Tax law grapped the audience attention through its sense of humor then ended up with a strong message of the urge to obey the new Tax Law.
